I have been employed as a Systems Support Specialist III within the Information Technology Services department since 2006. I currently co-supervise the student help desk, work as first and second level support for the employee help desk and assists in training newly enrolled freshman as well as newly hired university staff.
The best part of my job, is working with the people. I enjoy working with the student employees, helping them grow and watching them become adults. It is very rewarding to see them succeed and become more confident. I also enjoy helping customers – to answer their questions, troubleshoot their problems and help them get back to work quickly is very rewarding. Knowing that I have made their day at least a little less stressful is worthwhile.
